J.McLaughlin to open new shop at Fairfax Corner, joining Apple and Arhaus
WASHINGTON BUSINESS JOURNAL -Clothing and sportswear brand J.McLaughlin is planning to open a new shop at Fairfax Corner, claiming one of the remaining spaces in the 36,000-square-foot retail building Peterson Cos. developed a half-mile from Fair Oaks Mall.
The retailer recently signed a lease for about 1,565 square feet in the $110 million expansion project, which was completed last year, joining a lineup of tenants including Apple, Arhaus and a second location of chef Matt Hill’s popular restaurant Ruthie’s All Day, among others. The lease leaves one more block of about 1,500 square feet, with tentative letters of intent out for the balance, per Kimli Cross, senior vice president of leasing at Peterson.
