Janice Algie

Janice Algie serves as the Chief People Officer at Peterson Companies, where she is responsible for leading the Company’s human resource functions, including recruitment, talent management, payroll, benefits, HR training, organizational development, and employee engagement. Additionally, Janice oversees the coordination of corporate events throughout the year. With a strong commitment to cultivating a positive workplace culture, she plays a key role in shaping the employee experience and advancing initiatives that reflect the Company’s mission and values.

Janice began her career with Peterson Companies in 1982 as a receptionist, when the Company had only eight employees. Her career progressed as she took on a Personnel role in 1984, later becoming Director of Human Resources, and ultimately advancing to her current position as Chief People Officer.

Janice holds SHRM-CP and PHR certifications and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).


FUN FACT: Outside of the office, Janice is a passionate beekeeper.
