Resources for Restaurants

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is sharing information about best practices to operate retail food stores, restaurants, and associated pick-up and delivery services during the COVID-19 pandemic to safeguard workers and consumers. Across the FDA’s website you will find:

The National Restaurant Associations has put together a guide to offer direction and provide a framework for best practices as restaurants begin to re-open.

Resources for Retail

The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) has created a COVID-19 Re-Opening Best Practices outline that includes general recommendations when it comes time for your store or property to re-open. Please follow this in conjunction with any guidelines or mandates in place within your locale.

The National Retail Federation has put together a resource guide, Operation Open Doors, complete with a checklist for businesses to use as they navigate opening stores after this international health crisis. Additionally, there are a number of resources for NRF members to download.

Health and Safety Resources

Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Response to Workplace Safety and COVID-19 Exposure:
OSHA has issued guidance online addressing the major questions surrounding business and the safety of their workplace as they either maintain operations or in anticipation of resuming operations after COVID-19.

CDC Recommendations for Cleaning and Disinfection:
The CDC has put together some recommendations for proper cleaning and disinfecting protocols for frequently touched surfaces, such as doorknobs, tables, sinks, smart devices, bathrooms, and more. Please familiarize yourself and your employees with the following recommendations to help best protect against the spread of COVID-19:
